Policies for Instock Merchandise
Payments accepted are PayPal (both Credit Card and Funded),
money order or personal check drawn on a US bank. For payment
address for check or m/o, please email morwenna@mosaicmoon.com.
Mosaic Moon reserves the right to refuse any order for any
reason.
Items not purchased directly from Mosaic Moon are not
eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
Refunds
Any unworn, unwashed instock
soaker item may be returned for a full refund, minus shipping,
within 30 days of purchase. Item must be in unworn (may be
tried on briefly), unwashed condition. Customer must email
morwenna@mosaicmoon.com prior to return. Refund (minus
shipping) will be issued upon receipt of the item, provided it
is in like-new condition.
For returns for true defects or flaws, follow procedure
above. Shipping will also be refunded in the case of a true
defect or flaw and the item must also be returned within 30
days of purchase.
Policies for Custom Orders
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mosaic Moon's Custom Order policies differ from Mosaic
Moon's Instock policies, so please review them carefully
before placing your order. Placing your custom order with
Mosaic Moon implies an understanding of and agreement with the
following policies.
Once the customer is contacted by Mosaic Moon to provide
the details of their custom order, a final decision on size,
yarn type, and colors must be reached within one week or the
customer will be dropped to the end of the list. If a customer
has been dropped to the end of the list once, and again do not
provide their final decision within a week, the customer will
be permanently dropped from the list.
Payment for the custom order item will be due upon approval
of dyed yarn pictures. No work will be done until payment is
received.
Customer is responsible for understanding measurements and
fit issues, and Mosaic Moon is not liable for any items knit
to the customer's specifications that do not fit the child
when received. Customers will be offered measuring and sizing
help when needed.
Customer will be sent both pictures and measurements of
their finished item for approval before mailing. Once these
are approved, there will be absolutely no refunds or exchanges
except in the case of a true defect in the item. An item not
fitting the child, when knit to the customer's measurements,
is not a defect. It is the customer's responsibility to
review the measurements carefully before approval.
Mosaic Moon is not responsible for variegated yarn's color
patterning. While the patterning can be 'tweaked' somewhat to
try to get the desired effect, yarn patterning is
random--depending on skein size, length of color applications,
repeats of color, and size of the knit item. Mosaic Moon
cannot guarantee the patterning to turn out a certain way.
Patterning differences are not defects.
MOSAIC MOON'S RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mosaic Moon will make every effort to assure that the
custom order process is smooth and enjoyable. Emails will be
returned promptly (within 24 hrs) and sizing and measuring
advice will be given as needed.
Once Mosaic Moon has all the information needed to start an
order, that order will be complete within two weeks, usually
faster.
Pictures of the customer's dyed yarn will be sent as soon
as possible after receiving the order, and work will begin as
soon as payment is received.
Once final pictures and measurements have been sent and
approved, the knit item will be shipped out within 4 business
days (giving time for lanolinizing and drying). All soaker
items are washed, lanolinized, and allowed to dry before being
shipped. Shipping will be by USPS Priority Mail with tracking.
